Antiquing Creams are ideal for antiquing non-porous surfaces or sealed porous surfaces. They are formulated to easily antique textured surfaces creating a distressed, aged, or patina effect.

Simply apply the cream and allow it to dry thoroughly. Once dry, remove with a damp cloth. Wipe back as much or as little of the Antiquing Creams as you prefer. Buff to a sheen with a soft cloth, or seal with any of the Media varnishes. To seal and stop it from shifting, use a soft brush to apply the varnish. Sealing supplies a barrier so that more layers of Antiquing Creams can be applied.

Antiquing Creams can also be used with the Crackle Glaze. After the crackle has dried, rub in the Antiquing Cream. Once dry, wipe back with a damp cloth.
